Mother’s Day NYC
I think it’s nice that we take time for moms and dads on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. They have the toughest job in the world! Somehow without a diploma or even a weekend seminar, they have to figure out how to raise a productive human. Let’s face it, we all take the little things that they do for us each day for granted. Without them we wouldn’t be here! I like to plan a fun activity for my mom that includes fabulous food and drinks. There are many prix fixe menus available especially at brunch. Below are a few fun things that I’ve tried. Taking a cruise is more costly but it really is a beautiful memory if you’ve never done it.

Ayza Wine & Chocolate Bar http://ayzanyc.com/midtown/chocolate-martinis.html If your mom is a chocoholic try Ayza. There is a chocolate martini menu in addition to a dessert menu and a Jacques Torres chocolate menu. Add a glass of prosecco and watch mom’s stress melt away. They offer a two course lunch for $10.95.
Agozar Cuban Bistro http://agozarnyc.com/menus/brunch/ This Mother’s Day brunch features a signature entree plus a two hour open bar including Sangria, Mimosas, Bloody Mary’s. 11:30am-5pm Saturday and Sunday, $28 per person. I like the chorizo and the quesadilla de hongo.
