The Springs (224 Franklin Street) The Enthusiastic Dad’s Winter Formal is coming to The Springs in Greenpoint every Friday and Saturday in February. Go stag or with a date and dress for the occasion! Tickets are $65 and include open bar with punch bowl cocktails, wine, wine coolers, beer, house cocktails and Zima. A DJ will spin contemporary and throwback tunes to get everyone on the dance floor raging until 2 a.m. And don’t worry, there will be a completely awkward winter formal photo booth to capture this sure-to-be epic night out. Celebrate everything you love about winter in one delicious festival. Tickets are $49 for unlimited spiked drinks, craft beer and free-flowing bubbly including a commemorative tasting glass.Top local chefs will be on-site selling their favorite winter comfort foods (truffle mac n’ cheese, anyone?) from Empanada Papa, Adrii’s Kitchen, Brooklyn Baked & Fried, Fournos, Knot of this World, fresh & co, Areppas, Angry Archie’s, Memphis Seoul and Rooster Boy NYC. The music, games and seasonal treats will bring you that just-off-the-slopes feeling (without all the windburn). General admission ticket holders can choose between the 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. sessions. The boozy wonderland will feature games, live music, and plenty of cheery antics. Take a shot from the shotski, pummel your pals in a fake snow fight, or hunker down by fire pits with a hard cider in hand. VIP ($75) tickets get you in thirty minutes early for first dibs on all the goodies and exclusive access to a cozy lounge with specialty cocktails and a decadent make your own s’mores station.
